One of New York Puzzle Company’s core values is its dedication to environmental responsibility. They make every effort to reduce impact on the environment while providing an artistic and entertaining product. The shrink-wrap for boxes is recyclable. They use 100% recycled chipboard for all boxes and puzzles. Printing is done with soy inks. So when it is time for this puzzle to pass into its next phase, rest assured that it is fully recyclable and compostable. 

The New York Puzzle Company decided to take its environmental engagement one step further by becoming a member of 1% for the Planet. This means they pledge 1% of the sale of each puzzle to environmental non-profits committed to creating a healthy Planet. 

Made in the USA: puzzles are fully manufactured in the United States or EU which means they are all top quality products made by people making a living wage. They have a linen-style finish to reduce glare.

With the exception of one, puzzles we have selected for our shop are based on art by female artists. The New Yorker covers selected here were created by Edna Eicke, Ilonka Karasz, Loveis Wise, Jenni Oliver, Iris Van Rynbach, Beatrice Tobias, and Gürbüz Doğan Ekşioğlu.
